Two Different Guarantees, Not One Blanket Policy
Whatever we hand-build carries our own promise on the assembly itself, and a separate, unrelated promise from the manufacturer on the component. Knowing which one applies saves everyone time if something ever comes back.
One Full Year on Our Own Work
If a shaft we installed starts to twist loose, a grip we wound slips at the seam, or a loft/lie measurement drifts without the club ever being bent elsewhere — that's on us, and we fix it free within a year of pickup. This is a promise about the hands that assembled the club, separate entirely from anything the manufacturer is responsible for.
Wear from actual use — a grip losing its tack after a full season, groove wear, scuffs picked up riding around in a bag — falls outside that promise, though we'll always refresh it at our normal shop rates.
What the Manufacturer Covers Instead
Structural problems with the head or shaft itself — a cracked face, a shaft that snaps under ordinary play — fall under whatever policy the maker offers, which varies by brand. If that ever applies to something built here, we'll walk the claim through on your behalf rather than leaving you to sort it out with a manufacturer directly.
